I wanted to create something truly unique—a book that is more comprehensible and inspiring than plain text, more imagination-provoking than traditional photography books with standard images, and more aesthetically refined than conventional manuals with diagrams.
The inspiration for this book came from Swiss posters of the 1960s and 1970s, known for their timeless elegance. Their clean and concise forms are both simple and incredibly effective at conveying meaning. My aim was to make the book easy to understand while ensuring it remains aesthetically captivating and interesting as an object.
To achieve this, I conducted thorough research in Swiss archives in Zurich, specializing in the style I was drawn to. This helped me deeply connect with their aesthetics and adapt them into a fresh interpretation for this book.

Je voulais créer quelque chose de vraiment unique — un livre qui soit plus compréhensible et inspirant qu'un simple texte, qui stimule davantage l'imagination que les livres traditionnels de photographie avec des images standards, et qui soit plus esthétique et raffiné que les manuels classiques avec des schémas.
Mon inspiration pour ce livre vient des affiches suisses des années 1960 et 1970, reconnues pour leur élégance intemporelle. Leurs formes épurées et concises sont à la fois simples et remarquablement efficaces pour transmettre des idées. Mon objectif était de rendre ce livre facile à comprendre, tout en étant esthétiquement captivant et intéressant en tant qu'objet.
Pour y parvenir, j'ai mené des recherches approfondies dans des archives suisses à Zurich, spécialisées dans le style qui m'attirait. Cela m'a permis de m'imprégner de leur esthétique et de l'adapter dans une nouvelle interprétation pour ce livre.
